The system consists of three components.
Covers the floor panels, transmission tunnel and the lower footwells. It replicates the features of the floor but provides a barrier to limit sound entering the cabin.
At its thickest part the mat is 8 mm thick. It has closed cell foam in the under foot areas to provide a level of comfort.
The mat has a 45-degree flange that is designed to take up dimensional variations in the floor parts. The flange forms a tray to enable it to be washed out. The deep moulded tread contains mud bought into the vehicle. The floor mat replaces the rubber inspections bungs and gear level grommet, it can be fitted over the transmission level gaiter or the gaiter can be re fitted on top.

This mat provides half the acoustic properties provided by the complete system. A surprising amount of noise travels into the vehicle through the seatbox, the large panels also reverberate and add to the noise.
The mat is supplied as a blank that totally covers the seatbox. As well as acting as a barrier to noise the dense polyurethane dampens the panel reverberation.
The mat requires cutting to suit your exact requirements but all the markings are provided on the under side corresponding to the features.
Designed to fit the centre section of the bulkhead acting as a barrier between the engine bay and vehicles occupants. Items fixed to the bulkhead can be relocated on top of the mat.
